Australian Food & Fibre will incorporate Altora Ag to create a market-leading Australian annual cropping business.
Australian Food & Fibre is a market leading cotton producer providing connected supply chain services and also a significant grain producer with operations across NSW. The combination will take advantage of geographic overlap and operational synergies as well as providing greater ability to pursue growth opportunities, based on shared capabilities.
During the transition period Joe Robinson will serve as both Managing Director of Australian Food & Fibre and Chief Executive Officer of Altora Ag. At the completion of the transition period and following the integration Joe Robinson will be Managing Director. The Robinson family will continue as shareholders in the merged business.
The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the coming months.
